The Netherlands-Flemish Bible Society (NBG) is a charity that brings the Bible closer thanks to members and donors. Would you like to become a member too?   • Am I also entitled to a gift if I am already a member of the NBG?

    Yes, existing donors can also receive a gift when they increase their direct debit contribution, under the same conditions as the welcome gift.

  • Is it true that the NBG has different account numbers for transferring money?

    That is correct, we use the following account numbers:

  • Why am I being called by the NBG?

    We can call you in the following situations:

    In a number of cases where you have requested something from the NBG, for example a free reading schedule, for which you have also given permission for us to contact you once by telephone with a donation request;

    If you are a donor or otherwise associated with the NBG, we may call you with an administrative question or a donation request.

  • What are the conditions for cancellation with a welcome gift?

    With this welcome gift, we thank new donors for their recurring contribution to the worldwide translation and distribution of the Bible. We hope for their continued support and count on them to support the Dutch-Flemish Bible Society (NBG) for at least one year. Should unforeseen circumstances make it necessary to terminate the recurring direct debit order early, please contact the NBG Customer Contact Centre, tel. (023) 514 61 46.

A bookcase full of old, special Bibles

Bible library

The Netherlands-Flemish Bible Society has its own Bible library with a virtually complete collection of Bibles published in the Netherlands since the invention of printing. Important editions are regularly loaned to museums. The Bibles can be viewed by researchers and students by appointment. Appointments can be made via the Customer Contact Centre (KCC): email address  or telephone number +31 (0)23-514 61 46.
