Remuneration policy

The Netherlands-Flemish Bible Society uses the terms of employment of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands (PKN). In principle, these terms of employment follow developments within the central government. In addition to the monthly salary, employees receive holiday pay and an end-of-year bonus. There are also secondary benefits, such as participation in a collective pension and health insurance scheme. The pension administrator is the Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn.

Executive compensation

In determining the remuneration policy and setting the remuneration for the management, the Netherlands-Flemish Bible Society uses, in addition to the terms of employment of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, the Advisory Scheme for the Remuneration of Directors of Charitable Organizations of the Association of Fundraising Institutions. This advisory scheme establishes a maximum standard for annual income based on criteria regarding the size and complexity of the organization. The Netherlands Bible Society falls into group H of this advisory scheme, and the director's salary (€ 107.988) has been set taking into account the maximum according to this category (€ 124.142).
