She laughs
Since April 1, 2023, Zij Lacht has been part of the Dutch-Flemish Bible Society. On this page, you can find out what the mission of Zij Lacht is!
The mission of Zij Lacht
The platform Zij Lacht helps women in the Netherlands and Flanders to read, understand, and live the Bible. The devotionals are read monthly by more than 50.000 women and help many understand and apply the Bible. In addition to the daily devotionals, Zij Lacht also offers (Biblical) products, Bible reading plans, online courses, events, and online inspiration.
Daily devotions
Every day at 06:00 AM, a Bible devotional is posted online. These devotionals are written by a team of volunteer writers and checked by a theological team. The devotionals are read by approximately 40.000 people monthly.
Each devotional for Zij Lacht is written based on a Bible passage. The source we use for this is the Bible: What is the purpose of the Bible, and what does it mean that God speaks? What response is expected of us to His speaking?
